The H.F. and Maude E. Marchant Memorial Library in Scranton is hosting a beautiful display of decorated, award-winning eggs provided by the Iowa Egg Council.
The eggs in the display were entered in the annual egg decorating contest at the Iowa State Fair. The large chicken eggs provided Iowans the opportunity to showcase their artistic abilities while promoting the Incredible Edible Egg.
The eggs were judged based on design, artistic merit, creativity, technical merit and effective use of the egg. More information on the contest is available at www.iowaegg.org.
